UPS and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) are currently negotiating a new agreement for over 300,000 U.S. employees. Currently, negotiations are at a standstill and if no agreement is reached by July 31st, there will likely be a strike. 

To help our customers better understand what is going on and the effects it will have on their business, we have answered the most important questions below. 

When will the strike start? The current deadline for negotiations is July 31st. If no agreement is made by the deadline, the Teamsters will begin striking on August 1st.
Will my packages still ship on UPS?

Yes, if you decide to stick with UPS your packages will continue to ship but could be delayed or disrupted.

If you are Integrated via a Smart API or Smart CSV integration, you will need to make updates to the order details on your end.

What should I do if I currently use UPS? If you currently utilize UPS for transit and delivery of your products, you may need to make adjustments or switch to another provider to ensure your packages are delivered on time. You don't want your package sitting at a warehouse or sorting facility.
